  15. Patty, I didn’t know that bluebirds would overwinter that far north. I don’t see them in this area when it gets cold. He’s beautiful. You may have to provide him with an electric heater in his birdhouse.

  16. I LOVE your bluebird of happiness sweet Patty…

    Jenny ♥

  17. You are so fortunate! I have only seen a bluebird twice , and both times were in the last 5 years! Where I live, close to the city, we don;t have any. If I saw this more often I’d really be smiling! Just beautiful Patty!

  19. For some reason, I thought you would be showing us a bird covered in snow. Your photo is delightful and a joy to see, as always.

  20. I forgot to mention about yesterday’s post that my Natl Geographic mags are from the late 60s. The one I used in the post was from ’67. Marilyn Rock first reminded me why I didn’t get the results I was going for. You and she were right. I should have saturated the entire book, Then Cheryl Dolby’s comment reminded me that NevrDull was probably what I was thinking of to alter postcards. DUH!!!

  21. Oh my goodness… what a beautiful bird! I’ve never seen this birdie overhere in Holland… the colour is inspiring! Shall I make a blue page in my art journal today? I might! Enjoy the garden, dear one, enjoy the day!
